Installation Guide – Custom Headlights

VT-VU-VX-VY-VZ HALO WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

Here at Switchback LED Lighting we also specialize in building and retrofitting headlight fittings.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the H4 wiring in standard VY Headlights, these custom projector headlights will TURN OFF low beam when switching to high beam. This is unavoidable at this stage. Note also that the parking light is removed due to projector, this is where we recommend using the halo rings as parkers.

These headlights are made upon order.

INSTALLATION

The headlights plug in as normal, we include a plug and play harness that includes a fuse tap which plugs into your fuse box to either constant, or ignition fuse. The bluetooth app also allows you to manually turn the halos off if needed (while powered).

The only other wiring that needs to be connected is the passenger side halos, where we include two extension harnesses for each ring to run with the factory wiring just in front of the radiator to the other side where the power supply and driver is to be mounted. The kit is completely Plug and Play

INCLUDED:

• 2x Modified Custom Headlight Fittings
• 1x Wiring kit (Driver module, bluetooth module and power supply)
• 2x Extension harness (generally the passenger side headlights halo connections will be too short to reach the drivers side.)
• 1x Tube of dielectric grease. (This MUST BE used in all 3 pin plugs to prevent water damage. Failure to do so will void warranty on the product)

LOW BEAM and INDICATORS NOT INCLUDED!

These can be added at an additional cost.

Low beam fitting stays as a H1, high beam fitting changes from H1 to a All-In-One Hi- Lense, so no need to worry about high beam bulbs as they are built in!

Lead Time

We estimate a 3-4 week lead time from when the order is placed. The headlights will be built at the next available moment.

RETURNS

We do not offer Change-of-mind returns on any of our custom headlights.

WARRANTY PERIOD

We offer a warranty period of 12 months for the halos and electronics in this kit. This warranty is only valid if the customer followed all installation directions and used all relevant parts.
