Series 2 RG Colorado Custom Headlights build features:

• BRAND NEW aftermarket TYC Headlights are used for these builds.
• Bi – LED 3″ Projector retrofit – Standard satin black shrould. (3″ Projector does low beam and high beam in one unit)
• Housing Blackout – The standard low beam reflector lens chrome is removed and painted matte/satin black.
• Optional: High Beam section can be blacked out to match the low beam section, or left as a fully functional high beam.
• COMPLETELY PLUG AND PLAY, absolutely no wiring needed. Unplug your old headlights, and plug in your new headlights. Any LED bulbs that are chosen in the selection will be installed into the headlight.

Please note: Blacking out the high beam section will essentially “delete” the high beam. Due to the 3″ Projector installed into the low beam section, this will still allow high beam functionality, but through the projector on its own.

Headlight features:

• Bi-LED Low beam – This is a sealed projector unit with no bulbs. Please note if these units fail, the whole projector will need to be replaced, which involves splitting the headlight to access the insides. However these Bi-LEDs are reliable units.
• High Beam: H1 size, if you opt not to black out the high beam section, a H1 LED can be installed for optimal light output.
• Indicators: The indicator section gets blacked out. We recommend choosing the LED extra to maintain light output. Factory halogen bulbs will be dim, as they have nothing to reflect off.
• DRLs: Factory DRLs are maintained, the customer must use the ballast unit and LED module from their factory headlights. 

Do I need the headlight leveling motor?

Z71 / Z71 Xtreme / LTZ / LTZ+ / Storm all come factory with an electric headlight leveling motor inside the headlights. This allows you to use the headlight leveling dial next to your headlight switch to move the headlight level up and down. If you opt NOT to have the headlight leveling motor fitted, this switch will simply not work, the headlights will work as they should, but you will need to manually adjust the beam level on the back of the headlight.

LT / LS / LS-X All have manual headlight leveling. If fitting to LT / LS / LS-X models, select “No” for headlight leveling motor.

LEAD TIME: We usually allow up to a month before the customer receives their order. This depends on how busy we are. If their is going to be any delays we will send you an email.

INSTALLATION

These headlights are completely plug and play. No additional wiring is needed.

• Headlight Dust caps
• 7x Screws for OEM DRL Ballast + LED Module

DRL BALLAST & LED MODULE NOT INCLUDED. You will need to use the ones from your current headlights.
